The Extreme Pro Pad inserts are an ultra-light, contouring layer of high density Poron XRD. It provides the ultimate protection by a horse saddle pad by absorbing 90% of impact. The soft material conforms to the horses back. Upon impact, Poron XRD firms momentarily to form a flexible protective layer, then softens again. This pad is comfortable and effective for horse and rider.

The pad comes with three full length pockets on both sides of the spine. Each pocket has two 1/4 inch felt shims for a total of 12 shims. Open the velcro closure along the spine of the pad to add or remove shims as needed. Additional sets of shims can be purchased separately.
